George Washington Merrill
Funeral services over the remains of George Washington Merrill, 85, were held yesterday afternoon at Champion's chapel, Rev. D. E. Kendall officiating. Deceased is survived by a wife and a son, Will Merrill, a rancher living on Dutch creek.

Mr. Merrill was found dead in bed at the home of his son, Sunday morning, when members of the family entered his room to awaken him. Death resulted from infirmities incident to old age. He had been a resident of Sheridan county for many years and was well known and highly respected in the community in which he lived.

Interment was at Mount Hope.
